Sports Illustrated is a USA magazine covering Sports News.

Every week, Sports Illustrated magazine delivers sports action photos and in-depth coverage of sports, taking you into the minds and hearts of the players and coaches. Sports Illustrated was created by Time Inc. founder Henry Luce and was launched on August 16, 1954. Two other magazines had been published with the same name during the first half of the 20th century, but both failed. Sports Illustrated began publishing long-form sports articles during the 1960's, and established the reputation of Frank Deford as a leading sports writer. Each February, the magazine publishes the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which is consistently the top selling issue of the magazine.

It is one of the best American media outlets, according to Mondo Times members.
