Eric Kallgren Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 3:26pm on Wednesday, January 28th, 2009 | On January 27, 2009, Audience Development magazine reported that Black Enterprise magazine has redesigned the print edition:
"Black Enterprise is celebrating its 39th year in publication with a new look and format. Beginning with its January 2009 issue, readers of the business and financial management title geared towards African-Americans will notice a new logo (the first since BE’s debut), a new tagline — "Your Ultimate Source for Wealth Creation" — as well as updated departments.
“For this redesign, we saw that it was important to develop a product that was more accessible and urgent to our readers,” editor-in-chief Derek T. Dingle, told The Circulator. “We wanted to be very clear to our readers what we were presenting, especially during this financially tumultuous time, so we did a number of important things to bring home the message of wealth creation and preservation.”"
