"One of my chief frustrations with the digital world is the wealth of good ideas dreamt up by some very smart people that never become best practices. As publishers and vendors assault me with promotions for their site relaunches, new technologies, and feature roll-outs, I thought it would be a good time to urge some of you to start stealing shamelessly from one another. I spend ridiculous amounts of time monitoring what magazine and other media brands do online. Maybe it is the dour glass-half-empty part of my nature, but when I do happen upon a good idea my first response is Why isn't everyone doing this?"
