Mondo Times editors Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 3:15pm on Tuesday, December 16th, 2008 | On December 10, 2008, Crain Communications announced that it will no longer produce a print version of Financial Week. The press release read:
"In an effort to provide even more timely news on corporate finance, Financial Week will become an online publication. As the indispensable source for intelligence on the issues affecting corporate money, Financial Week is edited for the "C-Suite" and other decision-level financial executives in the top U.S. companies. The weekly print newspaper ceased production with its December 7 issue.
"Year over year, our Internet traffic has grown dramatically," said Nancy Adler, publisher, Financial Week. "Increased focus on the Internet allows us to more efficiently deliver corporate finance news and analysis. This means more breaking news, more interviews and more in-depth coverage of the capital and credit markets. Senior financial decision makers look to financialweek.com for the latest information on these topics and how they affect their jobs. By focusing on delivering the news on the Web rather than in print, we can keep our readers truly updated in today's volatile marketplace."
