TBS Superstation
TBS Superstation is a USA TV network covering TV Entertainment.
TBS Superstation is an American cable television channel showing popular new and syndicated entertainment programs. TBS stands for "Turner Broadcasting System." TBS Superstation was originally a local TV station in Atlanta, Georgia known as WTCG. Ted Turner began distributing the station nationwide via satellite on December 17, 1976. By 1978, WTCG was available on cable television systems in all 50 of the United States. WTCG was renamed WTBS Channel 17 in 1979. In October 2007, the operations of WTBS and TBS Superstation were split and the local TV station was renamed WPCH TV 17, which is now an independent TV station serving Atlanta.
This TV network is owned by Turner Broadcasting System.
