Mondo Times editors Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 1:28pm on Thursday, June 25th, 2009 | truTV is eliminating its daytime "In Session" programming, TVNewser reported on June 23, 2009:
"truTV's 'In Session' daytime programming is shutting down its New York operations leaving as many as 65 staffers out of a job. Executives from Turner Broadcasting, which owns truTV, have been notifying employees of the change this afternoon. 'In Session' includes longtime anchors Jack Ford and Ashleigh Banfield, who, we're told, are among the cuts.
The live daytime programming from truTV's headquarters on Manhattan's east side will cease in mid-November. At that point
Turner Broadcasting's HLN in Atlanta will provide programming for truTV's daytime hours."

Mondo Times editors Boulder Colorado USA | Posted at 7:54pm on Monday, June 8th, 2009 | The truTV show "Speeders" announced "the top 5 things to do when pulled over," tips from officers on June 8, 2009. The show will launch its eighth season on June 11.
Here are the top 5:
1. Pull over immediately.
Drivers should pull off to the right side of the road at once. They should not act as if they didn't see the officer trying to stop them.
2. Don't make any sudden movements.
While the officer is walking to the car, drivers should not reach for a purse or wallet, because the officer may think they are trying to hide something or reaching for a weapon. Sudden, furtive movements are a big red flag to any officer pulling someone over.
3. Stay in the car with the seatbelt buckled.
When pulled over, drivers should keep their seatbelts on, not get out of the car reach into the glove box for insurance and registration unless and until the officer says so.
4. Be polite and respectful.
Drivers should be polite and respectful to the officer, listening to what he or she is asking.
5. Keep license, registration and insurance up to date.
The easiest way to avoid a ticket is to comply with the rules of the road and drive only when all documents are current.

Eric Kallgren Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 5:37pm on Sunday, May 10th, 2009 | There isn't much worth bothering with on truTV according to Josef Adalian, writing in the April 20, 2009 issue of Television Week:
"(Turner Broadcasting System) once owned a network where viewers could watch live news coverage of important trials. Way too.. factual. Court TV became the unfortunately named truTV, which now is home to the same overheated "reality" shows that fill a dozen channels."
