Spike TV is a USA TV network covering Television Entertainment. On 11 August 2003, TNN (The National Network) became Spike TV. The new name is supposed to convey the cable network's focus on programming for men. Prior to 'The National Network,' the service was Viacom's country music channel, 'The Nashville Network.' This TV network is owned by Viacom Inc.. The web site is presented in the English language.

Mondo Times editors Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 3:27pm on Sunday, June 28th, 2009 | The web series 'Angel of Death' is coming to Spike TV as a feature film. Zoe Bell stars in the drama about a ruthless assassin looking to get revenge on her former employers.
After five million views since its debut on March 2, 2009, "Angel of Death" will be making the move from the internet to television, as Spike TV will air the 10-part web series as a 90-minute televised movie on Saturday, July 25 at Midnight, ET/PT.
The announcement was made today by John Griffin, vice president, programming, Spike TV.

Mondo Times editors Boulder Colorado USA | Posted at 11:35am on Thursday, June 11th, 2009 | Spike TV will celebrate the work of legendary action movie star David Carradine with a marathon featuring some of his iconic characters on Saturday, June 13, 2009. Carradine's career spanned five decades with dozens of memorable roles ranging from the "Kung Fu" television series (1972-1975) to Quentin Tarantino's classic "Kill Bill" films. Carradine also appeared in the highly-rated Spike TV original film, "Kung Fu Killer," last August.
On June 4, 2009, Carradine was found dead in his room at the Swissôtel Nai Lert Park Hotel in central Bangkok, Thailand. A police official said Carradine was found hanging by a rope in the room's closet.
