Mondo Times editors Boulder Colorado USA | Posted at 10:43am on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009 | December 16, 2009: Automobile magazine has named its Automobile All-Stars For 2010:
"The auto industry may be coming off its worst year in recent memory, but you'd never know it from driving a crop of dozens of new cars, as we just did during our annual All-Stars competition. The level of excellence was high, and the competition was keen - so much so that thirty-nine cars received votes for the ten All-Star spots. In the end, though, our balloting produced a list of true standouts that span a wide range of the automotive spectrum."

| Posted at 6:10pm on Saturday, May 2nd, 2009 | Automobile magazine won a National Magazine Award (nicknamed an Ellie) for columns and commentary in April 2009.
In this year's citation, the American Society of Magazine Editors wrote: "Jean Jennings, president and editor-in-chief, for three columns by Jamie Kitman, They Fought the Laws (of Supply and Demand), and the Laws Won, September; Lease Me to the Moon: The Rise and Fall of Consumer Finance?, November; Bailout Time for the Big Three. None Dare Call Them Republicans, December.
Jamie Kitman’s column for Automobile Magazine unflinchingly puts the screws to Detroit’s Big Three for their sputtering finances, bad decisions and stalled creativity – all from the exasperated perspective of a car enthusiast who expected much better. This is Automobile’s first nomination as well as its first win."
