Fran Drescher to Host Nick at Nite's Valentine's Week Marathon

New York (January 29, 2010) -- Nick at Nite celebrates Valentine's Day with The Nanny star Fran Drescher, as she hosts "Valentine Schmalentine," a week-long marathon of back-to-back episodes of The Nanny). During "Valentine Schmalentine," Drescher invites viewers into her "boudoir" as she shares her expertise on love, dating, romance and relationships, as well as her favorite clips from the series.

The Nanny, the hit comedy that originally aired from 1993 to 1999, follows Drescher as Fran Fine, a nasal-voiced, street-wise, working-class woman from Queens who stumbles upon the opportunity to become a nanny for the three rambunctious children of wealthy, widowed Broadway producer Maxwell Sheffield. With her warm heart, no-nonsense honesty and off-beat non-traditional nurturing style, Fran turns out to be the best thing that ever happens to the family...whether they realize it or not. With constant pressure from her family to get married, Nanny Fine becomes a relationship expert, and ultimately marries her boss, Mr. Sheffield.

Nick at Nite needs to go back to the way it once was with real classics I LOVE LUCY, DICK VAN DYKE, BEWITCHED, JEANIE, NEWHART, HAPPY DAYS....ETC THOSE NICK AT NITE JINGLES NEED TO BE BROUGHT BACK. ITS NOT JUST MY OPINION. IF YOU GOOGLE "OLD NICK AT NITE" YOU WILL SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE FEEL THIS WAY. Nick at Nite used to be something people loved because they were old classics you can't see anywhere.. GOOD SHOWS. Not that the current line up doesn't have good shows, but some just recently went off the air. There should be strong guidelines for what's considered a classic. NO MORE MARATHONS OF FRESH PRINCE! There should be a GIANT POLL take peoples opinions on what they want to see. Its apparent when you look at comments on yahoo, youtube. There is a myspace page dedicated to the old Nick at Nite

Nick at Nite is adding one hour of primetime programming and episodes of "Malcolm in the Middle" beginning Sunday, July 5, 2009.

Beginning Sunday, July 5, Nickelodeon will permanently move the 9 p.m. start time of its Nick at Nite block to 8 pm (Sundays-Thursdays, ET/PT), providing an additional hour of programming.

The award-winning series Malcolm in the Middle will join the Nick at Nite schedule on July 5 at 8 p.m. Nickelodeon acquired the complete seven-season library (151 episodes) of the series from Twentieth Television.

Malcolm in the Middle, which centers on teen genius Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) and his dysfunctional family, will join Nick at Nite's roster of hit family favorites such as George Lopez, Everybody Hates Chris (beginning in September), Home Improvement and The Nanny. Malcolm in the Middle originally ran from 2000 to 2006 on Fox.
