Mondo Times editors Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 2:50pm on Sunday, June 28th, 2009 | Jeffrey Nemeroff, the art director at Architectural Digest, has left the magazine. WWD (another Conde Nast publication) reported that he had butted heads with the magazine’s "famously tough-talking editor in chief," Paige Rense.
A spokeswoman for Architectural Digest said Nemeroff's deputy, George Moscahldes, has been named the new art director.

Eric Kallgren Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 10:45pm on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009 | Architectural Digest will not survive through the end of next year, in the opinion of Douglas A. McIntyre at 24/7 Wall Street from the article "Twelve Major Brands That Will Disappear" published on April 15, 2009:
"Architectural Digest Magazine has lost 47% of its ad pages this year. The magazine is owned by Conde Nast which is controlled by the Newhouse family. Newhouse is having significant financial problems with both its newspaper operations, which used to be very profitable, and its magazine group. Architectural Digest is operating in an environment where high-end home sales and expensive redecorating have been driven out of the market. It is also up against a number of other home and shelter magazines. Publications which are losing nearly half of their ad pages are almost certainly not going to make it for another year no matter what subjects they cover. Conde Nast has already closed or cut back several of its magazines."
