Better Homes & Gardens is an American home and family magazine covering home decorating and remodeling, crafts, entertaining, cooking, and gardening. In addition to providing useful tools and advice, BHG's experts keep readers up to date with information about home and garden. Published 12 times per year, Better Homes and Gardens is one of the most popular magazines in the United States, with a circulation of about 7.6 million. The magazine was founded in 1922 by Edwin Meredith, who had been the United States Secretary of Agriculture under Woodrow Wilson. Better Homes and Gardens is one of the "Seven Sisters," a group of women's service magazines catering to married women with children. The other sisters are Family Circle, Good Housekeeping, Ladies' Home Journal, Redbook and Woman's Day. McCall's, the seventh sister, ceased publication in 2002. This magazine is owned by Meredith Corporation. The web site is presented in the English language.

Mondo Times editors Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 3:32pm on Thursday, November 19th, 2009 | Better Homes & Gardens magazine has hired Katherine Pushkar to the newly created position of lifestyle editor. Pushkar moves to Better Homes from the New York Post, where she was features editor.
