Radar Magazine

Radar is a USA magazine covering People & Gossip.

Radar magazine ceased publishing a print edition after releasing the October/November 2008 issue. It continues as an online magazine, featuring a mix of "pop" politics, scandal and style.

The print edition of Radar has failed three times since its original launch in 2003 by founder Maer Rashon. The website was relaunched in 2009 as direct competition with celebrity news website TMZ.com. The previous relaunch, in February 2007, was financed in part by Yusef Jackson, the son of civil rights leader Jesse L. Jackson.

This magazine is owned by American Media, Inc..

The web site is presented in the English language.

Taken from an email correspondence with the original founder and editor of Radar's print edition, Maer Rashon replied, "AMI [American Media, Inc.] purchased the venture [Radar Magazine] a couple of months ago and disbanded the magazine. None on Radars original staff is working for it's current incarnation."
