Radar

Radar is a USA web site covering People & Gossip.

Radar magazine ceased print publishing after releasing its last print edition in October/November 2008. It continued as an online magazine, featuring a mix of "pop" politics, scandal and style until eventually closing up shop all together. Radar resurrected once again in 2011, presenting a different look and different web site address but continuing to fucus on celebrity gossip.

The print edition of Radar has failed three times since its original launch in 2003 by founder Maer Rashon. The website relaunch in 2009 was intended as a direct competitor of the celebrity news website TMZ.com. The previous relaunch, in February 2007, was financed in part by Yusef Jackson, the son of civil rights leader Jesse L. Jackson.

This web site is owned by American Media, Inc..
