HSN Honored For Exceptional Customer Service

"ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., January 12, 2010 -- HSN announced today that it has received its highest ever ranking for customer service, according to the Fifth Annual NRF Foundation/American Express Customers' Choice Survey. The survey of more than 8,000 consumers voted HSN #7 in the top 10 for retail customer service.

"Customer service is more than a friendly greeting; it's an attitude that retailers must convey in everything they do," said Kathy Mance, Vice President, NRF Foundation. "We congratulate HSN on its recognition as one of the top ten retailers for customer service, as selected by thousands of shoppers nationwide."

HSN has made tremendous progress in the customer service category over the past two years. The company was not ranked in the survey in 2007, rose to a ranking of #16 in 2008 and in 2009 climbed 9 spots to #7 to secure a place in the top 10.

HSN and Samsung Announce Plans to Launch a HSN Shop by Remote(R) App on Samsung's Internet@TV - Content Service

"ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., January 8, 2010 -- HSN announced today that it will offer the HSN Shop by Remote app on select 2010 Samsung HDTVs, Blu-ray players and Home Theater Systems through the upgraded Internet@TV - Content Service. The HSN Shop by Remote app will allow viewers to access live streaming HSN video and make purchases using their remote controls.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs Sells Fragrances on HSN

Shopping channel HSN is kicking off the holiday season with two special-guest live appearances from producer, musician, actor, designer, and entrepreneur Sean "Diddy" Combs as he debuts his award winning fragrances, Holiday Gift Sets and exclusive Sean John robe on HSN.

Sean "Diddy" Combs will unveil his men's fragrance collections Unforgivable and I Am King, and women's fragrance collection Unforgivable Woman during two shows on HSN - Monday, November 30 at 11:00pm ET and Tuesday, December 1 at 1:00am ET.

"With the help of HSN, I'm going to be coming to your living room for the holidays," says Combs. "I can't wait to show HSN's viewers my lineup of Sean John Fragrances for men and women. It's the perfect time to shop for the holidays."

HSN will present the "HSN Cooks! 24-Hour Holiday Celebration" on November 6, 2009. The retailer will welcome culinary stars Padma Lakshmi, Ingrid Hoffmann and Duff Goldman to HSN's kitchen as they launch what HSN describes as "an exciting array of products."

Padma Lakshmi, Emmy nominated host of Bravo's Top Chef, actress, model and cookbook author will introduce Easy Exotic by Padma Lakshmi. Through the Easy Exotic collection, Padma will share her South Indian heritage and appreciation for old-world flavors and fresh botanicals with her new collection of cutlery, tea pots, spices, rubs and two of her cookbooks: Tangy Tart Hot and Sweet: A World of Recipes for Every Day and Easy Exotic. "I've always believed in the beauty of cooking with friends and family at home. I'm excited to debut the Easy Exotic brand on HSN and infusing a bit of spice into the lives of their customers," says Lakshmi.
