During the "QVC Presents QSessions Live Featuring Daryl Hall and John Oates" broadcast, the number one selling duo of all time performed a selection of songs from the four-disc compilation, including "Rich Girl," "Maneater," "Private Eyes," "Sara Smile," "She's Gone," and more. Daryl Hall and John Oates also offered fans the opportunity to order the set, which was specially packaged for QVC shoppers with an eight-track live bonus CD (previously unreleased), nearly a month before street date.
"As one of the most influential acts of our time, Daryl Hall and John Oates continue to entertain fans with their legacy of hits," said Rich Yoegel, director of merchandising for QVC. "It is truly an honor to have them debut this collection on QVC and to have them perform live for our viewers."
Do What You Want, Be What You Are marks the first comprehensive multi-CD, multi-label deluxe box set compilation ever assembled from Daryl Hall and John Oates' entire work. Featuring four CDs containing 74 tracks (16 of them previously unreleased), the compilation spans four decades of music. The set includes songs from their earliest sides recorded as teenagers on Philadelphia's indie Arctic and Crimson labels (1966-67), through their Atlantic years (1972-75), a decade at RCA (1975-85), and their final major label association with Arista (1988-90), before launching their self-owned U-Watch label in 2002.

Mondo Times editors Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 11:15pm on Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 | Country music star Reba McEntire will make her QVC music debut on Friday, July 31 at 7 PM (ET) to preview music from her first new solo album in six years, "Keep On Loving You."
During the QVC Presents Q Sessions Live Featuring Reba McEntire broadcast, McEntire will give viewers a sneak peek of her much-anticipated release with a special live performance that will include her new Top 10 single "Strange," the album's next single "Consider Me Gone" and the current dance club hit "I Want A Cowboy."
Shoppers will also have the opportunity to pre-order Keep On Loving You, which has been specially packaged for QVC with a bonus hard-back copy of her best-selling autobiography Reba: My Story, more than two weeks before street date.
"Music lovers of all ages are in for a real treat with this exciting debut," said Rich Yoegel, director of merchandising for QVC. "We are thrilled to not only launch Reba's newest album but to have her perform live for our viewers. This will certainly be a memorable show that fans won't want to miss."
McEntire was recently recognized by Billboard, Country Aircheck and Mediabase as the biggest female hit-maker in country music history.
One of the most successful female recording artists in history, McEntire has sold over 55 million albums worldwide and her last 13 studio albums have all achieved platinum-plus status. The two-time Grammy Award winner is also an acclaimed film, TV and Broadway actress.

Aspen is the location for the 27th annual Food & Wine Classic. QVC will share with its viewers an inside look at one of the world's most prestigious culinary events through three hours of special programming.
The Food & Wine Classic brings together 50 of the world's foremost authorities on food and wine at 80 cooking demonstrations and wine seminars. QVC's coverage on Sunday, June 21, will give viewers access to the event's signature Grand Tasting Pavilion and Classic Quickfire, as well as the biggest V.I.P. gatherings, including Food & Wine's Publisher's Party and the 2009 Best New Chefs Dinner.
"QVC is more than just a shopping destination - we're a community where shoppers gather to be entertained and informed. We're taking our customers to new and exciting places, delivering them access they would otherwise not be granted," said Claire Watts, president of U.S. Commerce for QVC.
