HLN is a USA TV network covering National News.
HLN is an American cable television news channel. A spinoff of Cable News Network (CNN), HLN began broadcasting on January 1, 1982 as CNN2, and was rebranded as CNN Headline News one year later. At the end of 2008 the name of the network was changed again, to HLN.
The channel began as a 30-minute newscast which was repeated around the clock. Since 2005 the channel has become more personality driven, with programs featuring the opinions of people like Glenn Beck (since departed to Fox News), Nancy Grace and Joy Behar.
This TV network is owned by Turner Broadcasting, Inc..
