Maclean's Magazine

Maclean's is a magazine in Canada covering National News.

Maclean's is the leading Canadian current affairs magazine published monthly in print. From the beginning in 1905 it has promised to be "timely, topical, relevant and Canadian." With a circualtion of about 2.4 million readers, it offers investigative reporting and exclusive stories about international affairs, social issues, national politics, business and culture.

The magazine was founded in 1905 by journalist John Bayne Maclean when he launched The Business Magazine, an early aggregator of news items from Canadian, American and British periodicals. The same approach to gathering stories from different outlets was used by Reader's Digest magazine and others. Maclean soon changed the name of the publication to The Busy Man's Magazine and in 1911 it became Maclean's.

In 2019, Rogers Communications sold its magazine publishing group to St. Joseph Communications. The deal included Maclean's, Chatelaine, Today's Parent, Hello! Canada and the digital services Flare and Canadian Business.

This magazine is owned by St. Joseph Communications.

The website is presented in the English language.
