Eric Kallgren Boulder, Colorado USA | Posted at 4:08pm on Saturday, May 2nd, 2009 | Foreign Policy won the National Magazine Award (nicknamed an Ellie) for general excellence in its circulation category in April 2009.
In this year's citation, the American Society of Magazine Editors wrote: "Serious without being pompous, deep without being self-indulgent, Foreign Policy is an essential guide to global politics, economics and ideas for people who want to know what’s really happening in an increasingly complicated world. This is the third General Excellence Ellie and seventh nomination overall for Foreign Policy."
