FanHouse

FanHouse is a USA web site covering Sports News.

Launched in 2006, FanHouse was a sports website owned by AOL. In early 2011, AOL licensed the name “FanHouse” to Sporting News Magazine who took over its content.

FanHouse covered the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, motor sports, golf, tennis, boxing, soccer and more, with breaking sports news, analysis and blogs by well known sports writers. FanHouse won Editor & Publisher's 2008 EPpy Award for "Best Sports Blog." FanHouse sports bloggers included experienced print journalists like Jay Mariotti (Chicago Sun-Times), Kevin Blackistone (Dallas Morning News), Lisa Olson (New York Daily News) and Terence Moore (Atlanta Journal-Constitution). FanHouse also had a roster of traditional bloggers, including Michael David Smith. It was the first sports blog to pay a large number of sports bloggers a per-post fee.

This web site is owned by AOL Inc. and American City Business Journals.
