Sports Afield Magazine

Sports Afield is a USA magazine covering Hunting & Fishing.

Sports Afield is a hunting and adventure magazine founded in 1887, this makes it the oldest outdoor publication in North America. The first issue, in January 1888, was eight pages long and printed on newspaper stock in Denver, Colorado. The subscription price was originally $1.50 per year.

After a long history of ownership and content changes the magazine remains devoted to people who share a passion for high-end sporting pursuits, especially North American and African big-game hunting.

This magazine is owned by Ludo Wurfbain.
