I have found that in the sports reporting, the coverage of girls sports programs has not been reported equally. Since the beginning of the new high school in this area it has been covered less than even the more outlying smaller high schools with regard to these events. I feel the schools should be covered at least equally in ALL areas without regard to gender or bias in any form. I have been taking the Courier for many years and have been here through the growth and difficulty of beginning in the south Montgomery area. I realize the school is new but their participation in the area is just as important to people in this area as older established schools and should be reported equally. There seems to be no difficulty with reporting, say, baseball or football, for example. Just a thought and hope that this may be taken into account for the new year. Thanks for your consideration.
