Natal Witness Print and Distributes a Range of Local Newspapers

-- Along with the Natal Witness newspaper itself, the Witness prints and distributes a number of other newspapers including Echo, The Mirror, Village Talk, Greytown Gazette and UmAfrika, a weekly half-page Zulu newspaper.

The Natal Witness also prints, manages and distributes Ilanga, South Africa's oldest black newspaper. With sales in excess of 100,000 every Monday and Thursday, Ilanga is the second largest title in KwaZulu-Natal. Ilanga is printed in Zulu and distributed throughout the province as well as in Gauteng and is read by more than half a million readers.

Gauteng's Daily Sun is also now printed and distributed in KwaZulu-Natal by The Natal Witness.

The newspapers in the Witness stable are printed on a KBA Comet, the most advanced printing press in Africa. Fully computerized with automated inking, register and damping systems, the press is capable of producing a 32-page broadsheet edition with full color on all pages in a single run at a rate of 70,000 copies per hour.
