WPIX TV Promotes LATV Channel 11.3 During Hispanic Heritage Month

-- WPIX-TV and its Hispanic-targeted digital multicast channel LATV (Channel 11.3) announced a joint partnership with Pathmark Supermarkets to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at New York's South Street Seaport on Sunday, September 27. 2009.

LATV on-air celebrity Pili Montilla will emcee an afternoon of free activities that will be accompanied by live music, a salsa competition, and free prizes and giveaways.

"For over a year LATV has done a great job helping us connect to New York's incredibly diverse Hispanic community, and the partnership with Pathmark for Hispanic Heritage Month is a sign of more good things to come," said Betty Ellen Berlamino, WPIX President and General Manager.
