Mona Muresan Named Editor in Chief of Muscle & Fitness Hers

-- David J. Pecker, president, chairman and CEO of parent company American Media, Inc. (AMI) announced the appointment on November 8, 2011.

"We are thrilled to welcome Mona to AMI as she is here to infuse Muscle & Fitness Hers with her expertise and knowledge of the world of fitness, training and nutrition," said Pecker. "Her hands-on experience as a competitive IFBB Figure Pro athlete brings even greater credibility and a wealth of knowledge of the sport to the magazine."

In addition to her status as an IFBB figure pro, Muresan is also the owner of Nebraska Steakhouse, a New York City restaurant.

Her appointment at Muscle & Fitness Hers takes effect immediately.
