Denver Post Appoints Ed Moss President and CEO
-- February 10, 2012: Moss also assumes the title of EVP of Digital First Media in charge of MediaNews Group, Inc. operations in Colorado, Texas and New Mexico.
“Ed truly understands our Digital First strategy and the necessary steps to take to transform newspaper operations to multi-platform news companies,” said John Paton, CEO of Digital First Media responsible for operating MediaNews Group and Journal Register Company.
Moss previously served as publisher of U-T San Diego (formerly the San Diego Union-Tribune).
His dual appointment takes effect February 20.
