As a local the paper does its job, though I was directed onto Mondo Times to find the Philipsburg Mail's web site and info but they aparently do not have a web site! No wonder I couldn't find it on google, thanks Mondo for the information.

Seattle | Posted at 11:15am on Thursday, June 12th, 2008 | Vlad obviously hasn't read the paper in the last year since I started paying attention. I'd say it's the best newspaper of its size I've seen in Montana. As for AP stories, I haven't come across a single one...ever. James is right, when is there even reason for the AP to get into Granite County, maybe once a year?

Laramie, Wyo | Posted at 6:20pm on Sunday, November 4th, 2007 | While the Mail does at times vary in quality, overall I find the newspaper to be very informative and well suited to the communities needs.
I find it interesting that the newspaper would be accused of 'ripping-off' the associated press when almost all content is generated by the staff to cover Granite County issues.
When was the last time AP wrote about Philipsburg, besides a big fire?

Belarus | Posted at 7:41pm on Monday, July 30th, 2007 | While living in Philipsburg the past four years before returning home to my country I became to thoroughly be disgusted in the Philipsburg Mail.
The people who work at this establishment appear to have the education of a second grade kid.
Punctuation, sentence fluency, spelling and word choice are all terrible. Also, it should be noted that the media they cover is useless, and what little interest articles they do have are poorly written and usually just rip-offs of the AP.
This paper should be shut down in my opinion, as it is truly the worst I have come to contact with yet!
