Nina Rhymer Rockport, Texas | Posted at 5:52pm on Monday, January 5th, 2009 | Happy New Year! We noticed where KZTV has added the highly rated culturally rich program, SUNDAY MORNING, which airs at 8 a.m. for 90 minutes on Sunday's. If you haven't checked this excellent show out, try it and you'll be amazed with it's content. Three cheers to KZTV for choosing to bring SUNDAY MORNING into our homes for 2009.

daytrip Lake Forest, CA, USA | Posted at 7:26pm on Friday, September 26th, 2008 | I am writing about Shep, the dog that was left to starve for an entire month and no one reported it until he was ready to die, and did die, the day he was rescued. The embedded collar was there much longer than a month for it to grow completely into his neck. The video of Shep writhing on the ground was gut-wrenching. That no one came forward for him to get help is even worse. What kind of people live there who would do this to a living, breathing, feeling creature? Who would see this dog starving for an entire month and not call someone? Yes, a "concerned" neighbor called KZTV. Why did you wait? How did you feel watching Shep die alone by inches? Wake up! You are teaching your children that it is alright to mistreat and abuse animals, that cruelty is something we don't think twice about! I work in animal rescue and that is how I know out here in California that this happened in your town, your state. We are becoming a nation of animal abusers; breeding them out of control, starving them, fighting them, beating them, killing them. Please. If someone knows who left this dog to die, please go to the authorities. I am sure you can be anonymous. Don't let Shep's death go unpunished. His suffering cannot be calculated. He deserves justice my friends. Thank you.
