Gas Prices: You never seem to mention that gas prices on Salt Spring Island are ALWAYS 15 - 20 cents HIGHER than Victoria and the rest of Vancouver Island and other Gulf Islands. This has been a controversy for quite awhile. Most people try to gas up when they are off-island. I believe we have the highest prices in all of Canada - ALWAYS.

For J. Janower: The Canucks game last night is just more of the same. Since Mike Keenan destroyed this team it has under performed. True there were minor flashes of success but this team is in a constant state of flux and rebuilding. They repeatedly fail to rise to the game tone of their opponents and find ways to adapt to surpass it. The whole of this team is once again less than the sum of its' parts. True, it is only the first game in a long series, however in each game played one team has to win. This team, like in last year's play offs, is failing to answer the bell. Their opponents do.
