Mondo Times members can change their ratings at any time, so changing opinions of the media are reflected in the aggregate ratings. This approach also enforces the principle of "one person, one vote."
The Ratings
Popularity Rating: The popularity rating shows which media are of greatest interest to MT members, based on the number of times they visit each media outlet from Mondo Times.
Content Rating: The content rating covers the overall quality of the end product, in terms of how well ideas are expressed and presented. The content rating uses a five point scale from "Great" (a rating of 5) to "Awful" (1), with "Average" in the middle (a rating of 3).
Political Bias Rating: The political bias rating provides an indication of the thinking behind the subject matter, and the extent to which the content is shaped by a political agenda. The rating scale runs from 1 (liberal) to 5 (conservative), with 3 (no bias) in the middle.
Credibility Rating: The credibility rating gives an indication of how willing people are to trust the content. Does the media outlet produce information that you believe, and does it do so consistently? The credibility rating also uses a five point scale, from 1 (very low trust) to 5 (very high trust).
