Mondo Times Health Poll Archive

This poll ran from November 6 to 11, 2005.

The quote is from a new study by the North American Association for the Study of Obesity. Media Life Magazine wrote that the study "joins the already mounting body of evidence beyond common sense that the sedentary lifestyle of too much TV contributes to weight gain. A September study by the University of Otago in New Zealand concluded that TV viewing has a greater impact on body mass index than diet or inactivity. The study found that the most obese test subjects were those who had watched the most TV as kids."
