U.S. Congressman John P. Murtha (D-PA), speaking on November 17, 2005 to call for U.S. withdrawal from Iraq. Murtha is a decorated Korean War and Vietnam combat veteran and an expert in defense matters with 30 years experience in the House of Representatives. Murtha said "Our military has done everything that has been asked of them. It is time to bring them home." And, referring to Vice President Dick Cheney, Murtha said "I like guys who\'ve never been there that criticize us who\'ve been there. I like that. I like guys who got five deferments and never been there and send people to war, and then don\'t like to hear suggestions about what needs to be done."
