Israel HaYom

Israel HaYom is a daily newspaper in Tel Aviv, Israel covering local news, sports, business, politics and community events.

Launched on July 30, 2007, Israel HaYom ("Israel Today") is a Hebrew language free daily newspaper published in tabloid format. It is one of the largest circulation newspapers in Israel, competing with Maariv and Yedioth Ahronoth among others.

Israel HaYom was financed by American-Jewish billionaire Sheldon Adelson, who died on January 11, 2021 at age 87. It appears that the newspaper is now owned by his widow, Miriam Adelson. She also owns the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The introduction of the newspaper caused major disruption in the Israeli newspaper industry by offering a free alternative to the leading daily newspapers.

Circulation estimate: 255,000

This newspaper is owned by Sheldon Adelson.

The website is presented in the English and Hebrew languages.
