CadenaTres

CadenaTres was a television network in Mexico City, Mexico airing network programs, news and weather.

CadenaTres was a Mexican commercial television network airing a variety of entertainment programming. The service was launched in November 1999 on XHTRES TV 28 in Mexico City, which became the flagship station of the CadenaTres network.

The network was named CadenaTres ("Network Three") to indicate the ambition of the owners to make it the third national network in the country.

The network was shut down on October 26, 2015 after the decision was made to replace CadenaTres with Imagen Television, a new national network from Grupo Imagen, another subsidiary of Grupo Empresarial Angeles. XHTRES switched to airing the Excelsior TV news network, a televised version of the national newspaper Excelsior.

This television network was owned by Grupo Empresarial Angeles.
