Horseed Media

Horseed Media is a radio station in Mogadishu, Somalia covering local news, sports, business, politics and community events.

Established in early 2002, Horseed media is produced by a group of Somali Diaspora in the Netherlands and Finland.

The purpose of Horseed, literally meaning leader, is to advocate for peace and development in Somalia while informing the public on current affairs. Horseed media begun as a web site and is now also a radio station.

The radio station is based in Bosaso, Northeastern Somalia. It broadcasts in Somalia and online worldwide.

This radio station is owned by Aw musse Ismail.
