KHET TV 11 is a TV station in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA airing PBS network programs, local news and weather.
The station is an affiliate of the PBS Television Network.
KHET TV 11, promoted as PBS Hawai'i, is the only PBS member station in Hawaii. It is owned by the people of Hawaii through the Hawaii Public Television Foundation and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. KHET has satellite feeds on all the major Hawaiian islands to rebroadcast programs outside of metropolitan Honolulu.
KHET TV signed on the air for the first time on April 15, 1966. Originally known on-air as Hawaii Educational Television (Hawaii ETV), it was renamed Hawaii Public Television in 1972 and became PBS Hawaii in 2006.
This TV station is owned by Hawaii Public Television Foundation.
