The PNW Pioneer is the student newspaper of Purdue University Northwest. The Pioneer is the result of the 2016 merger of the Calumet Chronicle of Purdue University Calumet and the Panther News Network of Purdue University North Central. The two schools merged into one at the same time.
The Calumet Chronicle began publishing in 1981.
