On January 30, 2020, the Prince George's Sentinel in Maryland published its final edition. Sister newspaper the Montgomery County Sentinel also ceased publication.
The Prince George's Sentinel was a weekly paper covering local news in Seabrook and other communities of Prince George's County, Maryland. Together the two Sentinel papers had a circulation of about 200,000 in the 1990s, which by the end had dwindled to about 10,000. Daniel Kucin was the last editor of the Sentinel.
