KETG TV 9 is one of the public television stations of Arkansas PBS, a network of PBS stations across the state of Arkansas. Operated from facilities at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas PBS is the only statewide television network in Arkansas with six stations and 13 microwave sites reaching over 95% of the state.
Each year, Arkansas PBS produces about 120 hours of original programming featuring the people and places of Arkansas as well as issues of local, national and international importance to the state. It airs three channels -- AETN-1 with the best of PBS and locally produced programs, AETN-2 featuring national Create programming, and AETN-3, known as Arkansas PBS Plus, with educational children's programming during the day and World programs at night. KETG began broadcasting in October 1976.
