Arkansas Times is a magazine in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA covering local entertainment, events and culture.
Arkansas Times is a free monthly magazine covering politics and culture in the city of Little Rock and across central Arkansas. Owner Arkansas Times Publishing also publishes Arkansas Wild, Bike Arkansas, Arkansas Food and Farm, Arkansas Made and Savvy Kids.
Arkansas Times was founded in 1974 by Alan Leveritt and was initially called the Union Station Times. It took its current name in 1975 but has changed form a number of times, from a bi-weekly newspaper to a monthly magazine to a weekly tabloid and (as of 2019) back to a magazine.
This publication is a member of the Association of Alternative Newsmedia (AAN). AAN is a group of newspapers and magazines providing journalism that offers an alternative to the mainstream media in the area.
