The Lodi News Sentinel is a daily newspaper in Lodi, California, USA covering local news, sports, business, politics and community events.

The newspaper is published six days a week - Monday through Saturday.

The Lodi News-Sentinel was founded in 1881 by Ralph Ellis. The paper was locally owned until June 1, 2015, when the Weybret family sold it to Canadian newspaper publisher Steven Malkowich. Malkowich also owns the Bakersfield Californian and the Antelope Valley Press.

Ownership of the News-Sentinel changed many times over the years, from Ralph Ellis to Samuel B. Axtell to Fordyce P. Roper and George H. Moore, to Clyde C. Church, and finally to Fred E. Weybret and his sons.
