WLTV TV 23 is a TV station in Miami, Florida, USA airing Univision network programs, local news and weather.

The station is an affiliate of the Univision Television Network.

WLTV TV 23 is a Spanish-language TV station serving Miami and Fort Lauderdale in south Florida. The station is owned and operated by Univision Communications, which operates the national Univision television network.

WLTV first signed on the air in 1953 as WFTL TV. Storer Broadcasting bought the station in 1954 and renamed it WGBS TV (which stood for George B. Storer). WGBS became an independent station in 1956. It struggled to find an audience for its programming lineup and went off the air on April 13, 1957.

The station was relaunched on November 14, 1963 as WAJA, a Spanish-language independent station. In January 1971, Al Lapin, Jr. sold the station to Spanish International Communications Corporation after which the station was renamed WLTV. It featured Spanish-language programming from the Spanish International Network (SIN), which was renamed Univision in 1987.
