CCTV-1 is a television channel in China.

CCTV-1 is the primary channel of China Central Television (CCTV), the major television broadcaster in China and a sub-ministry of the People's Republic of China's central government. Based in Beijing, CCTV began broadcasting on May 2, 1958 and was known as Peking Television until the name was changed to CCTV on May 1, 1978.

This television channel is owned by the Communist Party of China.
