NBC News is the news division of the NBC Television Network, a division of NBCUniversal which is majority owned by Comcast Corporation. The NBC News division produces a range of regular programs including NBC Nightly News, Meet the Press, Dateline NBC and the morning show Today. Most of these shows are produced from studios at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City.
NBC News also owns and operates the cable and satellite service MSNBC, a 24 hour news channel launched in 1996.

-- Alcindor will leave her role as White House correspondent for PBS NewsHour to become Washington correspondent for NBC News. She is expected to remain the host of the Friday evening program Washington Week on PBS. She will start work at NBC in March, 2022.
