Joost was a USA website.
Joost was an internet TV service based on P2P (peer-to-peer) TV technology, which allows individuals to distribute video streams to others using the same application. It was an online venue for watching videos in 'near-TV quality' including music, TV shows and movies. The website was searchable by title or category, or by suggestions from other people.
Joost began development in 2006 and was created by Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis, the founders of Skype and Kazaa.
