Launched in 2001 and supported by advertising, it is available in over 86 million homes across the U.S. The channel offers original movies and a mix of popular television series including "The Golden Girls," "Murder, She Wrote," "M*A*S*H," "Walker, Texas Ranger" and "Little House on the Prairie."
The Hallmark Channel is operated by Crown Media Holdings, a publicly traded company which is majority owned by the Hallmark Cards company. Based in Kansas City, Missouri, Hallmark Cards is a privately owned American company that is the largest manufacturer of greeting cards in the United States.

Christmas Specials Marathon Off To Early Start
