Hallmark Channel is a USA television channel.

The Hallmark Channel is a 24-hour cable television channel offering family programming. Launched in 2001 and supported by advertising, it is available in over 86 million homes across the U.S. The channel offers original movies and a mix of popular television series including "The Golden Girls," "Murder, She Wrote," "M*A*S*H," "Walker, Texas Ranger" and "Little House on the Prairie."

The Hallmark Channel is operated by Crown Media Holdings, a publicly traded company which is majority owned by the Hallmark Cards company. Based in Kansas City, Missouri, Hallmark Cards is a privately owned American company that is the largest manufacturer of greeting cards in the United States.

-- January 7, 2011 -- Susanne McAvoy is now executive vice president of marketing, Michelle Vicary executive vice president of programming, Laura Lee senior vice president of distribution and Ed Georger general manager for Hallmark Movie Channel. McAvoy and Vicary were previously senior vice presidents, while Lee was vice president and Georger was executive vice president of ad sales, a role he will continue.
