Starz is a USA television channel.
Launched in 1994, Starz is a premium movie service in the United States. The pay TV channel is distributed via cable and satellite. Starz Entertainment, LLC also operates the Encore cable channel and a number of other services including Starz HD, Starz On Demand and Encore On Demand. Although Starz programming consists mainly of movies, the channel also presents original programming including "behind the scenes" programs and entertainment news.
This television channel is owned by Liberty Media Corporation.
