AXS TV

AXS TV is a USA television channel.

AXS TV was known as HDNET until July 2, 2012, when the name of the cable network was changed. In January 2012, HDNet announced a joint venture with AEG, Ryan Seacrest Media and Creative Artists Agency that resulted in HDNet being rebranded as AXS TV (pronounced "access"). AXS TV focuses on live entertainment using the resources of AEG, which operates concert and sports venues and promotes music and sporting events. AEG is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Anschutz Company. AXS TV programs include live concerts, award shows, parties, and interviews with entertainers. HDNet's signature programming including HDNet Fights, Inside MMA, and Dan Rather Reports will continue on AXS TV.

HDNET was originally launched on September 6, 2001 by Dallas Mavericks owner and billionaire Mark Cuban and Phillip Garvin from studios in Colorado. It was started as a general interest television channel presented exclusively in high-definition format and available via cable and satellite television.

This television channel is owned by 2929 Entertainment.
