Digital subchannels are additional channels provided by broadcast television stations as a result of the switch to digital broadcasting that officially took place on June 11, 2009 in the United States.This TV is a joint venture of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and Weigel Broadcasting Company. Launched on November 1, 2008, the network's program schedule includes an extensive library of films and TV programming owned by MGM and subsidiary United Artists, excluding the pre-1986 MGM film and TV library, whose rights are currently held by Turner Entertainment and Time Warner.
