Documentary Channel

Documentary Channel was a USA television channel.

The Documentary Channel was launched in 2006 and was a cable and satellite television channel dedicated to airing the works of independent documentary filmmakers. It featured high quality documentary films made by many of the most talented documentarians of all time. The Documentary Channel ceased operations in August 2013, following its acquisition by Participant Media in December 2012.
