Rod Aissa replaced Amy Introcaso-Davis as head of programming at Oxygen network, effective November 2011. Aissa previously worked in a similar position at OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network.

Oxygen Media, owner of the Oxygen Network, named Joel K. Savitt VP of production and operations, effective October 2011. Savitt previously served as VP of production at Katalyst Films.

Def Jam founder Russell Simmons is working on a reality series with Oxygen TV about the women behind the hip-hop pioneer. It's called “The Russell Simmons Project." No word yet on when the show will premiere.
