Comedy Central is a USA television channel.

Comedy Central is cable and satellite TV channel offering a range of original programs such as South Park, Comedy Central Stand-Up and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.

Launched on April 1, 1991, Comedy Central began from the merger of two earlier channels -- The Comedy Channel and Ha! -- and was a 50/50 joint venture between Time Warner (later AOL Time Warner and now Warner Media) and Viacom. In April 2003 AOL Time Warner was wallowing in debt and agreed to sell its half to Viacom for $1.2 billion.

On December 4, 2019, Viacom Inc. and CBS Corporation merged to form ViacomCBS Inc. ViacomCBS changed its name to Paramount Global on February 16, 2022.

It is one of the best American media outlets, according to Mondo Times members.

This television channel is owned by Paramount Global.
